"...he likes the warm feeling, but gets tired of all the dehydration"

an exhausted 6km

barely putting one foot in front of the other

followed by a solid 6km

that's what we call 'the slow warm up'

Ante up...

Those are some sweet kicks - but if you are starting on ex-loves...

Pre-2005: My own fat feet and a pair of sweet Addidas

2005/06: Nike Air Pegasus

2006/08: New Balance - a good shoe which showed a lot of chub the door.

2008: New Balance 6-5-Somethings (9's?) ...they killed my feet - hence my next step to...

2009/10: Saucony Omni Pro Grid 7's - possibly the best shoe I have ever run in...

2010 (current): New Balance 1011 - THE best shoe I have ever run in...and so

2010/11: New Balance 1012...we wait...

None of them are sexy - (those Addidas were - but you couldn't run more than 5ft in them before you fell over), but they made me who I am today and I will always love them for that.

seventh day without tarmac.

I don't feel the sickness yet, but it's in the post. That's for sure. I'm in the junkie limbo at the moment. Too ill to sleep. Too tired to stay awake, but the sickness is on its way. Sweat, chills, nausea. Pain and craving. A need like nothing else I've ever known will soon take hold of me. It's on its way.
