Born Alone...Run Alone...Blog Alone...Die Alone...
...and I soundtrack it all with this.
A dry 12K then down the pub to work it off...

Fail Better
Dehydrated and unprepared for the heat. A hot and heavy 11.5 with a (really could do better) 50 minute 10.
Until next time...I'll heed Samuel Beckett and we'll call it an okay training run.

Green and Pleasant
Beautiful, breath-taking, ankle breaking country. On single tracks wide enough for one, through sharp bushes, down to streams and rivers, along dirt roads, past bored sheep.
I can't say I didn't get a little lost, but when you're running you're never lost - you're just finding a new route. A tough 10k over hill and down dale - no records were broken - but then records have yet to be set...

Parks and Recreation
A surprise 6.5 with a lanky interloper.
Mid-pace, very windy. Forgotten how hard it is to talk and run.

Castle Rock
From work - to the hills.
Little lost. Climbs so steep I had to walk up the last third of one. Solitude is bliss.11k
